Our Story
Smart General Trading was founded in 2013 in Hargeisa Somaliland, beginning with a focus on supplying high-quality carpets imported from Turkey, serving local markets with reliability and trust. In the same year, we expanded our presence by opening a second branch in Wajaale, strengthening our reach and ability to serve customers across key routes.
As the business grew, we expanded our product range to include premium stationery, becoming a trusted distributor of Linc pens and related products sourced from India. Over the years, we have built strong relationships with a wide network of customers across Hargeisa and Wajaale.
Today, we continue to serve wholesalers and retailers with a commitment to quality products, consistent supply, and long-term partnerships.
